Entra en escena James Lovelock.<br \/>\nSi Habermas pregunta \u00ab\u00bfc\u00f3mo alcanzan los seres humanos un entendimiento leg\u00edtimo a trav\u00e9s de la raz\u00f3n y el lenguaje?\u00bb, Lovelock da un paso atr\u00e1s y plantea algo m\u00e1s inquietante: \u00bfy si el problema es el propio marco, ese que sit\u00faa al agente humano racional en el centro? La teor\u00eda de Gaia desaf\u00eda la escala misma desde la que pensamos la vida, la agencia y el sentido de pertenencia.<br \/>\nPara esta sesi\u00f3n, leed los dos primeros cap\u00edtulos de Pertenecemos a Gaia: \u00ab\u00bfQu\u00e9 es Gaia?\u00bb y \u00abLa historia de la vida de Gaia\u00bb. Son cortos y muy accesibles \u2014 nada que ver con Habermas \u2014 pero las ideas son silenciosamente radicales y merecen una lectura pausada.<br \/>\nPara esta sesi\u00f3n contamos adem\u00e1s con la suerte de tener a alguien con formaci\u00f3n en biolog\u00eda y ecolog\u00eda que se une a nosotros. Enter James Lovelock.<br \/>\nIf Habermas asks \u00abhow do humans reach legitimate understanding through reason and language?\u00bb, Lovelock steps back and asks something more unsettling: what if the frame itself \u2014 the one that puts human rational agents at the centre \u2014 is the problem? Gaia theory challenges the very scale at which we think about life, agency, and belonging.<br \/>\nFor this session, please read the first two chapters of We Belong to Gaia: \u00abWhat is Gaia\u00bb and \u00abThe Life History of Gaia\u00bb.
